How to import a recording?

1️⃣ Record

First, you need an audio recording! For rehearsals and concerts, the most convenient solution is usually to do a long, single recording of the whole event using a portable audio recorder (Zoom, Tascam, etc), but the “voice memo” app of your smartphone will also work fine.

2️⃣ Upload

On Réécoute, click on Import at the top of the page, then send all your files: if you use a portable audio recorder, your recording is probably split into several WAV files and you should send them all. You may have several gigabytes to upload, so this can take a while depending on your internet connection.

3️⃣ Joining files together

After the upload, if you had several files, you will be able to reorder them so they will be joined together in the correct order. Then, we’ll need some time (usually between 3 or 4 minutes) to process your audio to make it ready to be listened.

Done!

Once your recording is ready, you only have to identify songs, share it, write comments on it, etc. Your recording will stay available on Réécoute until you decide to delete it.
